Also check and make sure in your account settings on the connection tab you have your appropriate connection right eg: "Always connect to this account using" is ticked if need be and that your appropriate connection is selected ie: Local Area Network or whatever modem your using.

What I haven't asked is whether, when you click send, the email shows in the Outbox and if Outlook/Express shows ERROR in bottom right
or if it shows WORKING OFFLINE. Also what happens if you click on SEND/RECEIVE icon to force it ?......do you get any error message boxes ?
Have you checked Message Rules for any incorrect settings for MAIL and also check the Blocked Senders List.
I can't think of anything else !!

Subject: Microsoft Office Outlook Test Message
This is an e-mail message sent automatically by Microsoft Office Outlook's Account Manager while testing the settings for your POP3 account.
RESULT !!.......I knew you'd win in the end.
Yet again this site has been more successful than Orange Technical Support in the problem-solving department.

I realy thank you nhyder dont get me wrong but between us we fixed it but how as I did no more than check all you asked me to AND REMEMBER I did not change anything just checked it
The important point to remember is that Orange are still implementing changes and just because our current settings work now, doesn't mean that they will work next day/week/month.
But we should all now know what to look at and modify if necessary.
