I can ring a mobile number but not text does anyone know why ?

I would like to make a complaint about my service provider Orange.
I have been with them for over 20 years and feel that I'm being mistreated!
Orange has moved to EE and they will not let me change my tariff and say I need to port to EE to do this.
EE have informed me that I cannot port to them even though I have a PAC code.
Furthermore they have also told me that I will lose my number as Orange is going to cease!
I cannot afford to lose this number because it's used for my business for the last 20 years and will cease if the number is terminated.
Please can you help me with this.
The number is a local integrated number and is 0161380****
Please note that this IS a mobile number and I do have a PAC code!

I cannot send e-mails on my I-Phone 6 I have never been able to send e-mails on any my previous mobile phones. I can receive e-mails no problem. Could it be anything to do with outgoing mail server in my Account settings ?

Hi,

I am having issues with my PAYG Orange phone. It came up with the message 'emergency callls only' a couple of months ago and will not go away, this is combined with a 'no signal' message.. I have tried the pnone at my workplace EH32, 11 miles away but still no difference.

Is it the phone or has my service been cut off after 10 years with Orjange?

Any ideas?

I transferred my PAYG number to Orange long time ago and as I cared about my privacy, I did not register my real name, but I don't remember what name I gave. I also don't remember the 4 digits code and I can not change it on the online account.

What I have is the online account, the date and amount of last topups, and the name and address in my online account (which do not match the name Orange has in their database)

I called them and its very hard to resolve the problem, I only had one operator who told me to buy a new sim and call again to transfer the number. When I called again the other operators told me to go to an EE shop, but the one I visited told me they don't do Orange. I called again and the customer service told me to visit an EE shop again and to tell them to call customer service.

I'd like to know if you think there is any chance to recover my lost SIM.
