Hey, I have the Orange branded Livebox, it has the two ethernet ports, the yellow and the red one, the red one connects to the computer. I have an Xbox 360 and I am considering going for a wired connection.
Can I connect it to the Yellow ethernet cable?
Or the computer to the yellow and the Xbox 360 to the red one?
I only have the Livebox also, and I do not want to enable ICS as the computer only has one Ethernet obviously.
Also i want to get a lag switch, does anyone know if it'd work?
In theory you should be able to connect a device to each port on the livebox to have two wired connections. In practice some people have reported problems doing this, while it has worked for others.
Im sorry don't have an experience using a lag switch with a livebox.
I concur pluggy, takes the fun out of playing, and can also make others think they have a poor gaming connection as they don't appear to be moving fast enough to shoot, or evade other gamers who seem to pop up out of nowhere. I've heard it can also cause disconnections from the servers.

Fortunately for my own will, I decided not to use it, it does take the fun out of gaming, instant kills, yeah I stopped I dont fancy the banhammer coming down on my ass.
