I have a problem currently with the internet backbone Orange are routing over to Dallas, USA from UK

tracert 204.90.115.165

It would be much appreciated

That didn't come out the way I meant it....

Could someone using a Livebox Mini on Orange Broadband please issue this tracert command and let me know if it works for them PLEASE Wink

ThomasA and oldnick....many thanks for that much appreciated....

Proves that not all Orange broadband users are affected.

Since you posted I have just tried to ping 204.90.115.165 again..

instead of timing out at ashburn.opentransit.net, I now just get immediate
'Request timed out' 4 times...

I wonder if this is because I complained strenuously to Orange executive office or not?

Oh dear silly s*d...it was a PING that timed out...my tracert still gets stuck on the same ashburn.opentransit.net. Hop 9

Update: Got a call from a chap in Orange executive office who promised to run with my problem

By the way I know I'm not the only Orange customer who has this exact same problem.

Update:

The email to Orange Executive office worked.

On Monday I got a phone call and by midday Thursday the problem was fixed.

Looks like a slightly different server being used at ashburn.opentransit.net
