I've just acquired a smart-phone and have discovered just how ubiquitous BT FON & BT Openzone are.
At my present BT exchange, there is no LLU (rural) so I cannot 'benefit' from changing provider or I would have switched to Sky or other.
I was just wondering whether if I switched to BT Total Broadband with Unlimited calls whether anyone knows of any drawbacks? At the moment I am paying BT for 'free' evening and weekend calls plus Orange for an 'unlimited' (ha ha) package including 2nd line which I believe may be ending sometime soon. This is costing me around £39/month.
Since (from the BT website) it appears BT Total Broadband + Unlimited calls appears to be £27.99 + line rental , I am only benefiting marginally from my current deal because I use the 2nd line to ring some family members on their Orange mobile phones.
