My connection has been behaving oddly for the past week or so. I noticed webpages started to load much slower, seemingly getting worse later in the day. At first I wondered if I was being capped, but after running tests at www.speedtest.net the results seems to suggest otherwise.
The results seem to show my ping being fairly normal early in the day and then rising up to around 270 later on. My download speed lowers to somewhere in between 0.5Mb and 1Mb. Sometimes my upload speed seems to be affected, sometimes not. All in all, it seems rather random.
My connection has been problem free for a long time now, these issues have just suddenly appeared and I'm struggling to account for them.
I have two pcs connected to the livebox, one wired, one wireless. Both machines are getting the same results.
I've tried basic stuff like resetting the connection, checking for software that might be using bandwidth without my knowledge, etc. but I can't find anything amiss. So, any ideas?
It can't be line congestion can it? I've not experienced that kind of issue before and I assume that if that IS the issue, then there's not much I can do about it and that it's only going to get worse.
