For some reason Wanadoo now won't let me update, upload or delete any items in my free web space. For 2 days now I get a "file too big" everytime I send a 1k to 34k file in to a storage capacity of 30mb and any changes made to HTML code don't save, files can't be deleted, etc. You get the message.
Wanadoo tell me it's my end - it's not, I have checked everything it could be, even running from the office PC in a different location, another ISP, firewall off.....! Also looking around the web I found a few posts in last couple of days from people with the same problem. Don't the Wanadoo staff talk to each other or have a database of info - lol, clearly that bit was a joke.
After 45 mins on the phone telling them all this and being told I just need to add a new email account (you tell me how this could help the problem i have? Clearly I was a good boy and did it though.) they tell me to call back in 24 hours (subtext for "bugger off, it may sort itself and if not it's not my problem anymore").
Clearly the issue is with them but as I appear to be a minority in the Wanadoo world of - sort the masses and its hard luck for the few - can everyone who has a web area on Wanadoo try and upload something and if you are also getting the problem please bug the hell out of them.
