Wondering if anyone can help with this. Yesterday morning my connection was fine, I went out for a couple of hours, came back and I had lost my connection. I'm using a netgear router which seems to be working ok, except that there is no light on the front showing the connection that it usually has. Phoned both Orange and Netgear (both pretty useless) Orange did a line test and everything is ok, and Netgear said my router was ok. I'm at a loss as to what it could be as i've been connected to Freeserve, Wanadoo and now Orange for nearly 3 years with no probs. It's just strange how I suddenly lost my connection.
Any help would be great.

I had no connection Saturday and Sunday.
I kept getting the message 0691 Password or User Name invalid on this Domain (or something like that, it might have been Error 0619 ).
I called Orange on both occasions and was told the servers were down and to try again tomorrow. I'm at work now so I won't know until tonight if it's working. Anybody else having the same problem?
I'm using a Netgear DG834 router. The light that isn't coming on is 'i' that shows it has an ADSL connection. All I get when I load up an internet page is 'page cannot be displayed'. I stay up in Edinburgh and haven't had any lightning. Could it be that something has changed any settings in my router, or is it just knackered?
Cheers
I'm on an 0161 number as well and have been unable to connect for a couple of weeks (again!!!) - a girl from work also has the same problem - I'm due a call from Orange so I'll mention this issue to them (If they call!!!!)

Let us know what happens.
Both customer support types I spoke to said the problem would be solved tomorrow, (hopefully not as in jam tomorrow).
I know they're probably reading off a screen, because it was like deja-vu; the conversations were almost identical. The old Freeserve customer support was better, not perfect but at least it wasn't like talking to robots.

Got a connection! Waited 20 minutes to speak to someone at Orange; just as the bloke answered I tried the interweb again and got connected.
The Orange customer services chap admitted lots of people were having problems and said the connection might fall down again, but to try again if it did. He did try and explain what had been going on, which was good. At least if you get some kind of explanation you don't feel totally at a loss.

I got my connection back tonight at about 11.30pm. It just magically came back on! (It might not last though!) Cheers for the help and I hope you guys get your problems sorted.
