Interleaving is error correction and it's best to think about it as being a bit seperate from the other stability measures. It's supposed to cut in when it detects the system re-requesting data due to errors being received. Just because a line is stable at 8meg for example doesn't mean it won't need interleaving. Most people really don't notice it unless they're gamers who think that their ping times really matter.
Well i have a bit of a mixed reaction at the moment!! during peak times speeds are dropping to about 1meg and occasionally as low as 0.4 meg.
Most of the time i am up around 5.7 to 6.5 meg so big improvement there!!
It seems that UK Based support is the way forward if you want something done!! although i do take it with a pinch of salt when they say it is a BT Based fault Big thanks to Judy "you know who you are"
Never know who might be reading the forum and getting tips on how to fix issues
The main thing to be sure of is that the downstream rate doesn't drop to match the speeds you're receiveing. As long as they aren't then it should mean it's not a fault on the line itself.
