Someone recently said on this forum that the WEP key entry is case sensistive? You need to use upper case. It appears to be accepted, but then you get an error 'waiting for an address' forever and doesn't connect. I hit this problem, but it now works fine.
Its nothing like that I'm doing wrong. At the moment my laptop is connecting to the net somewhat intermittantly but the connection speed is incredibly slow despite the fact that its recording an excellent signal from the livebox and going on a potential 54Mbps speed. Even my desktop pc which I'm using at the moment is only receiving the internet at something under 500Kbps for some reason. I hope this clears itself up soon.
